When I was younger, I wanted to give myself an Alias. I love the word and the idea of ‘Universe’.

Science-wise, we understand it partially. Art-wise, we can imagine anything about it. What freedom! I love that we get to call it endless, I love its connotations to oneness and interconnectedness, I love how magnificent it is, and how unpredictable, time warping, illusionary, real, confusing, magical, huge and how ALIVE.
When I want to show gratitude or direct my prayers to a higher power, I consider it to be the ‘Universe’. At the same time, I don’t want to separate myself from any power I find powerful enough to alter my life. So, to empower myself and to make a looping circle, I name myself ‘Semesta Cruinne’.

I am extremely grateful for my beautiful birthname ‘Srishti’, which also means Universe, in Hindi. I wanted to be near but slightly far from it, and I had my motivations to form an Alias.
