Hi!
I am Srishti Sarawagi
aka Semesta Cruinne.
I love to create art through paint, photographs and words. I like to be.
I was born in 1997 in Delhi and have lived almost all my life in different parts of National Capital Region.
I pursued Bachelors in Arts: Sociology, Psychology and English in Ambedkar University Delhi for under graduation (2015-18). Then, I studied a diploma course titled: Information arts and design practices at Srishti College of Arts, Design and Technology in Bangalore (2018-19). After that I continued there with Masters in Fine arts: Contemporary Art Practices (2019-2021).

'Semesta' and 'Cruinne' mean – universe and universe in Javanese and Irish. It denotes what inspires me to be its way: The Universe (as we know it) is unlimited, boundless, alive with imagination and possibilities. It is also empowering for me because when I show gratitude to the higer power (if any) I call it the universe and the whole concept reminds me that it couldn't have been possible without me. PS: Srishti also means Universe
I take freelance digital illustrations, graphic design, book design, product photography, photo editing, creative writing, hand illustrations (water color paintings) and hand lettering projects. I am a co-author of the book: A Monthful of Hope and self published The Sorrows of Young Jane.
Things I do for myself include: paint with water colors and ink, draw, write and journal. Experimenting with stationery, diaries and journals brings glint to my eyes.
I love calligraphy and any form of lettering.
Years have changed the way I observe, think, understand, converse, make decisions, what I value and who I am. I have grown to learn to own up to my craziness.
Thanks for stopping by to go through my website. You count.
Hope you have a meaningful experience.
